I just got a new (to me) 1943 Finn M39 with a Sako barrel. This makes the 16th Mosin Nagant I now own. I've had twenty altogether except I sold four to raise up money for rarer ones.

Nice, I have heard the Finn ones are very accurate. I have a Mosin and a Mauser, the old milsurps are a lot of fun.

Very nice!!! I also have a '43 Sako. Excellent rifle. Make sure you post a range report.

Mine does not have a unit disc, thats neat.

    Does the magazine floor match?

First six shots, from a cold barrel. After the third shot, got a very nice group on the next three.

POA raised as barrel warmed up.

Depends on the ammo you use, surplus is about $95.00 for 440 rounds. They are basically a .308 equivalent and quite accurate as posted above. If you want to hunt with a funny looking old rifle they are perfect and are just as good at the range. You can get a rifle for about $150.00.

    BTW, nice Finn rifle.

I love the Finnish rifles. The history of Finland is incredible fascinating.
