I agree Gus. I really like his work.

I like that muskrat too. I need one of those for my collection.

    I saw that on FaceBook and was wondering . . . . .

    Good going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks. ;)

Delivery expected Monday. I can't wait. He said it has hues of blue and green so I expect it to be even more stunning in person.

It is coming from Yazoo City so it might just take over night.

If it did, I suspect we would have heard about it by now.

I received another Hawthorne, this one in mammoth ivory. Wish I had saved it's pic.

Yep got it yesterday. It really does look better in person but hard to get it in pics. The black areas are dark dark green but have some blue shades marbling. It's really impressive. I'm tickled.

I'll try to get pictures that show it better.

You really can't capture the niceness of really great knives with a photograph.

I can't get the richness of the dark areas on camera. Sun, false light, any of it. The marbling and patterns in it is nice. But here is a couple more.

After 6 years straight of carrying a partially serrated Benchmade Griptilian and Mini Griptilian (and a brief stint with an SOG Aegis I didn't like), I finally decided I wanted something different. The Benchmades served me well and I abused the hell out of them but I wanted something a little bigger, a little slimmer, and with better steel. After lots of research I decided to go with the Spyderco Paramilitary2. I only carried it today, but as with any new knife that included lots of playing with it and lots of finding excuses to cut things. So far, I love it and doubt I'll be carrying the Benchmades again. The thumb hole and compression lock took some getting used to, but now I'm a fan.

Sorry there's no damascus blade or unicorn horn scales or tritium inserts... :(
