Looks like I might stop over a night or two in Lafayette, I was wondering if there are any gun shops any of you might recommend? Also any good places to eat seafood. Thanks in advance and I appreciate your input.

Nimbeauxs never impressed me. If you want a good Cajun meal go to Poorboys Riverside Inn on Tubing Rd. It is near Southpark Rd in between Lafayette and Broussard.

Can't go wrong with Poor Boys, but Fezzo's in Scott gets my vote. Then a quick jaunt down I-10 to I-49N puts you at Barneys for dessert. If you don't mind the drive for a great gun shop you can cruise on down to Gueydan and hit G&H for great prices and service. That's always been my experience anyway.

Buckfins N Feathers in Broussard. They have a bunch of awesome stuff in there. They also have a couple great resturaunts around there. A small one across the street from buckfins is LT's Seafood. Then Riverside is in that direction, Nash's, and a little drive away the Boiling Point in New Iberia.

I want to thank all of you for the help. As for food it appears there are two that stand out the most. As for gun shops there are more than I though there would be, will try and do them all. Thanks again for the help............
