I ordered 2 of them one for me and one for my dad. I haven't used it through a scope yet, hopefully next weekend. My dad mounted his to his .17 and says it is awesome. I have played with mine at night around the house and the range on it is unreal! It has a few different mounts that come with it, the scope mount allows you to adjust wind age and elevation. You can also change the size of the beam for distance. It does recommend being used with a 50mm objective, the one on my 10/22 is a 40mm. I mounted it once to the scope when I first got it, but it isn't dark enough at my house ( street lights) to really give a good review. If anyone has somewhere to shoot at night I'm game to come out and let you guys play with it. I can also order these things wholesale, I think the 2 of them cost me around 580 with shipping and I'm sure I could get a better deal if I ordered more than 3 or 4 in one shot? When I use it around the house playing with it I can see where picking up a target through a scope will be easy. I have hit cats and a few possums with it and they shine, so through a scope it would be pretty cool! One thing I have read, and it comes with directions about this, it doesn't like the cold weather at all. To the point of not working or losing power, they say that wrapping it with hand warmers will fix this, but I haven't tried it in the cold yet. I will gladly answer any questions and help out if I can, and I will give a full report when I have a chance to really try out the light at the deer camp next weekend.
