Have you tried the 457 magnum from Wild West?

No Sir, I have not.
Mine was an early rifle and I never thought to try another caliber.
That said, .45/70 was as potent a tool as I was looking for.
Also had an 870 with a rifled slug barrel but the Co-Pilot was lighter and easier to store.
