First day was slow, as Louis promised it would be. It was still highly productive, for me at least. Tomorrow we start the more fun stuff.
On a side note, I just checked into my hotel, and I can honestly say this is the first hotel I've ever stayed where I feel the need to sleep with my gun in my hand.
What kind of crazy holster is that louis has? A really far forward cant and 2 extra shotgun shells?
OK,
In my defense, this picture is nothing like it seems.
We were actually having a very heavy discussion about terrorism. Louis does like to talk, and you would know that the only two words i get in, Teddy gets this pic.
It is funny as hell though.
AroundLSU - Not to de-rail this thread, but what the heck is your avatar??!! I probably spent 20 minutes with my face touching the screen to try and see what it was
"P***y engraved Glock."
I really like Louis' real world comments on equipment and "pimping out" guns. To sum it up, everything is "********". EOTechs are ********. Tritium sights are ********. Lasers are ********. Single stack pistols are ********.

Isnt he wearing a 1911 style pistol?
"Don't try to shoot too accurately. This is the one thing you don't have to get perfect. If you try to shoot 100% you'll only shoot 50."
ALL things in nature have instinct, SOME things in nature have the ability to calculate. A rock has the instinct to do nothing, a river has the instinct to flow, a tree has the instinct to grow and regenerate, and an animal has the instinct to breathe. It is our ability to calculate that often interfears with our natural ability to exist. The time spent over-analylising people and situations prevent us from reacting naturally to the stimuli. We, in effect, alter the natural flow of nature by trying to control it. We change who we are in an attempt to gain something small by minipulating the situations around us. As difficult as it is you must not care what others think of you and just live instinctivly. You must aquire and negosiate people and situations the way you do targets. Which is that you consciously and subconsiously understand the entire course of fire but when your sights align with an individual target you know that it is there and you just have to pull the trigger. This probibly makes no sense at all but it just came to me like that....Instinctivly.
Maku mozo!
