Louisiana concealed carry renewal question

I took my renewal class in October and my permit expires in November but I won't be able to send the renewal papers to Baton Rouge until at least December. Will I have any problems trying to renew after it expires?

I'd submit online for a renewal unless you have a special situation. But you have 60 days after expiration.

To make sure I am clear - fill out the form online, upload the necessary documents, and then pay electronically? I assume they just use your old photo for your renewal? If you don't do it online, do you have to do the fingerprints again?

I think they use either your old photo or the one from your DL. I haven't done fingerprints since I first got mine when they started so I can't answer that one.

Took about 3 weeks between submitting the renewal online and receiving the new permit. After submitting the renewal you will get an email saying it was accepted, then one saying it was approved. Then another email with a link to pay with a credit card.

Did my renewal online 1-23-16. Nothing yet. I guess the 3 weeks from start to finish is not happening. Don't know what the deal Is.
