So my brother in law and I got our first Garands last week. We are now in the process of sourcing ammo, slings, clips, etc. I've done just a cursory Bing looking for clips and have found them for around $1 each in bulk. (>100) That is for the Aggressive Engineering "AEC" clips. I guess that is a good price? Anybody have any other sources they'd like to share? Can't wait to go shoot them, but it'll suck with just the one clip that came with the rifle. ;)

We wound up getting the CMP ones. .80 a piece is much better than the $2 a piece ones at the gunshow yesterday!

And for the record, I'm very disappointed that I waited so long to get a M1! Zero'd it yesterday at HI. Very sweet rifle!

Meh, CTD could be selling ammo for .002 a round and I still would not buy from those filthy thieving bastards!

Bad experience? Been many years since I bought anything from them..like 20 or so.
No. I just remember their $60/ 50 rnd boxes of 9mm PMC, the $3895 Colt LE6920 AR's, and their $100 PMAG's from during the Post Newtown panic a few years ago.

I second this. CTD is no friend of the shooting sports, and would not get my business if they had the last round of ammunition on Earth.

Glad you all said this. I get e-mail specials all the time from them and will unsubscribe from it. We used to like dealing with them when I guess they first started out selling genuine surplus items. Like anything I guess they changed over time.

About 5 minutes after Comrade O was emaculated in 2008, CTD hiked their prices to stratospheric levels. After several years had passed and ammo and mag prices were normalized, the Newtown tragedy occurred and guess what? Within minutes, CTD was home of the $100 Pmag! I believe in a free market economy and that our dollars are votes. I WILL NOT do business with CTD again. Plenty of other, worthy vendors to deal with.
