It's been awhile 46 grains IMR 4895,168 gr SMK, 210M primer shot real good out my Garand and my O3 Springfied. Just can't remember if it was a GI case or Federal?

I loaded LC brass with 46.8gr Varget and 150gr FMJ Hornady COAL 3.285, Rem 9 1/2 LR and i think is higher than recommended by Hornady Garand section of current book. I have not chrono'd this load. I have read to keep your bullet weight below 175gr. I am trying to keep my 150gr bullet below about 2800 fps. Do not use a slow burning powder like H4350.
Refer to a manual for assurance of load data and work your way up for safety.

46 grains of either varget, 4895, or 4064 behind a 150 gr or lighter bullet shoots very well out of any mil surp gun. The load I took 4th with last year at perry in the SPringfield match was 46 grains of 4895 behind a 135smk. Primer does not matter
