they did nothing for benghazi until they were dragged over coals repeatedly.

No doubt. It should be noted that he was at a fundraising event last night, by all accounts.

The Russian People are historically easily motivated to face "external threats". During the Crimea Subversion notice how the line form Russia was that Ukraine had been co-opted by Facist, comparisons were made to the Nazi's, and Putin had to "protect" Russians.

Truly a sad situation. What in God's Name was this airline thinking, flying over that airspace to begin with? Isn't it true that the FAA forbid any US aircraft from taking that route??

    "That's a hint".:dunno:

Incredible that others didn't take note- especially when a transport was shot down MONDAY- until AFTER this happened.

Well, he rushed off to Vegas for a fundraiser the morning after Benghazi.
Can't break away from fundraisers to visit the border crisis he created.
That's just what he does. He loves to campaign and hates to govern.

So, is his fundraising stock based on him being the first black pretender or being the first black pretender?

Seems to me, with his track record so far he should be paying them to come see him by now!

Putin's recent comments and actions remind me of Hitler prior to WW-II.

He is a liar and is directly responsible for the downing of this airliner. The Pro-Russian rebels don't have the expertise to operate the BUK missiles. There is no doubt in my mind that this downing of a civilian airliner is because of Putin's support.

Putin will not stop on his own. The answer is for severe economic sanctions which will put pressure on Putin.

How this guy gets on American TV I don't know.

His own show is obnoxious enough.

However I'd like to hear the radar questioned answered.

Russia says they have a Ukrainian Jet Fighter increasing altitude near the Airliner
    when it apparently went down.

Supposedly more then one satellite is roaming above Ukraine as well as
    plenty of drones.

Whether or not a SU-25 was in range should be easily disputable.

I just looked up the Boeing 777 cruising speed (at 33,000 feet) and the max performance of the SU-25. In technical terms, no way in hell could the SU-25 run an intercept on the Boeing. It’s slower with a max ceiling of 23,000 feet (clean wing). Not to mention that it'd take a lot of either K-13 or R-60 missiles to severely damage a Boeing let alone cause a catastrophic kill. Remember, the SU-25 is a ground attack jet, similar but not as good as our A-10. (that is a biased opinion!)

Like I said it would seem to be easily disputed if not true.

Ukrainian Su-25 fighter detected in close approach to MH17 before crash - Moscow
*A Ukraine Air Force military jet was detected gaining height, it’s distance from the Malaysian Boeing was 3 to 5km,* said the head of the Main Operations Directorate of the HQ of Russia’s military forces, Lieutenant-General Andrey Kartopolov speaking at a media conference in Moscow on Monday.

*[We] would like to get an explanation as to why the military jet was flying along a civil aviation corridor at almost the same time and at the same level as a passenger plane,* he stated.

*The SU-25 fighter jet can gain an altitude of 10km, according to its specification,* he added. *It’s equipped with air-to-air R-60 missiles that can hit a target at a distance up to 12km, up to 5km for sure.*

The presence of the Ukrainian military jet can be confirmed by video shots made by the Rostov monitoring center, Kartopolov stated. RT News

    Russian military expert claims
Ukraine air-force SU-25 is not capable of shooting plane.

    &

    If you can decipher this...
An expert of the German NVA says that the BUK-System
has very likely not been the cause for downing MH17.
    https://www.neues-deutschland.de/artikel/940136.reibungshitze-haette-alles-entflammt.html?sstr=MH17

    translated;

An expert of the German NVA [former Eastern German Army], Oberst a.D. Bernd Biedermann,
comes to the conclusion that a Ground-to-Air missile (BUK)
can be excluded to a very high probability as the cause that downed MH17

If splinters of a BUK system would have hit the plane,
it would have immediately set it on fire, so the NVA anti aircraft defence specialist says.

The reason for this is the high heat caused by friction,
that splinters cause when they penetrate a plane.
One splinter contains the kinetic energy of a goods wagon weighting 40 tons
running on a buffer with a speed of 60 km/h.

His math doesn't work out. I also find it odd that pretty much every other expert thinks it was an SA-11. Even the Russians aren't really disputing the fact it was an SA-11. When you add in the voice intercept of the Ivans bragging about shooting down a plan, oh and the imagery of an SA-11 parked in the area the missile came out of well....

Lastly never discount the means of collection that NATO is using and doesn't want to discuss. An SA-11 is radar guided. I am 100% positive that the second that targeting and tracking radar was turned on there were 20 different platforms collecting data on it. It's called ELINT we are really good at it. France is the best at it, and oh what a coincidence the French have an E3 in Poland:

There is no need to burn assets to call out the Russians. There is more than enough evidence. I also find it odd that Putin has issued an official denial and re-direct. Sure he has used some media outlets to speculate but he hasn't tried to turn the tables. My bet....he got a phone call saying ...we know whats up, here's how we know...
