This is great, and now if he'll target the Occupational Licensing racket...

I might start writing letters, seems like this governor wants to uproot the liberal and mafia establishments in La.
This and continuing education hit home for me. Paying the state for the privilege of doing my private sector job, as well as paying a testing facility for 24 CE hours of rehashed nonsense that has nothing to do with my job, because of course there aren't any USEFUL courses on more advanced content. There are so few useful seminars and training courses for experienced insurance adjusters that you'll be lucky to knock 4-6 hours off your quota over 2 years. So you end up signing up for spam emails from CE vendors in the hopes you'll find a discount offer in there at some point.

I can say I’m all for this!! This never should have been required… it’s just another money grab!!!

This ain’t a guaranteed income for state police… I don’t see why it had to go through to see if State Police can get money from somewhere else before they get rid of this… your job don’t wait till you get another job to lay you off or fire you or cut your pay lol…

Good, this has been long overdue.
