Just got back. I think it had a lot bigger turn out than was projected. Definetely appeared to be well over 500 there. Had a couple good speakers, to bad the PA system went out during the opening speech. Made it really difficult to hear if you weren't close enough. Took some cell phone pics, but after downloading them, I don't think they're really good enough to post.

we had a bit over 100 in Ruston, considering that it was decided to have one here 2 days ago, and the event was not publicized, not bad at all.

I was there in a BS t shirt and an NRA cap. Looking at your first pic, I would have been about 15' to the right of the gazebo by the water.

We were there... although we got there late. I would say that we seen at least a couple of hundred people leaving as we got there and the crowd was still pretty large.

Here is my boy listening intently to the speaker... his first civics lesson, and he passed with flying colors!

After the TEA party we took the boy over to the playground and let him vent some of that pent up energy. I took a few shots of the sunset.

After watching the sunset on a good (and possibly historic day) we closed out the day by going for a treat of frozen custard. All in all... a damned fine day.

Damn, that's right where I was standing for a long time, next to the blonde with the blue hat. If you got there a little late, I had probably walked to the rear to have a smoke.
    Great pics.

So when are we going to get someone in the legislature to put up a bill to vote for the 10% flat tax on income only??? I fully support the tea parties but they are just bitch sessions until someone puts it to a vote?
I'm sick of paying taxes on my income, then another 10% on my food, gas to get to work, clothes I need to wear ect.
I give 25% up front and then another 10% of everything I buy...
