Thanks to all the heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice so we could be free, also eventhough Veterans Day and Memorial day are NOT the same dont forget to extend a hand to those who came back after doing what they thought was the right thing by serving their country. Keep also in your prayers all those men and women who are proud to wear a Uniform every day so that your family and mine can be safe and enjoy a good night sleep.

I honestly forgot about this holiday coming up. I've been so busy doing other stuff. My Mom called me this morning on my way home from work and said something like "I just wanted to thank you for your service" and I was like "Ummm...Ohkay?" Really, it had me wondering for a while there.

I'll be replacing the flowers and the flag on my father's grave this weekend . I encourage everyone else to honor any family members that were vets by doing the same .
