My Mernickle High-Rise arrived Monday and I'm very satisfied with the fit, workmanship and design of this holster. A 5½" SAA conceals nicely on my right hip as long as I wear a long-tailed shirt.

No, the SAA isn't my daily carry gun, but one rides with me while hiking, small game hunting, and working on the hunting lease. Now that some kind of big game can be shot year round-the place is overrun with hogs to the point that we don't have turkeys anymore and a handful of fallow deer have become feral. Any time I go up there, I want to have a gun with me that can dispatch one of these animals.
