I am looking to buy a complete upper. I have a Wilson Combat Super Sniper that has a heavy barrel. Instead of selling this gun I want to buy a complete upper to put on this bottom for everyday use. The gun is to heavy to use as a grab and go tool. I would like to know what the general population believes would be the perfect upper for the situation I have described. I have always like optics ready ar's but, the grab and go may need fixed open sights. OH btw, I figured this would be a great topic to take your mind off of the problems at hand. I wish the best to all that are dealing with the issues many of us are facing.

16" gov't profile midlength from CMMG... I'd have bought one of those instead of my RRA but I was restricted by department policies.

any major brand 16" (at least government profile, no heavy barrels) or 14.5" with permanent suppressor shoudl suit you just fine. You can then mod it to suit. I have a fixed front sight base, a flip rear, and an eotech on mine
