Never had the time and/or expertise to build my own, so thank you Tony Rumore !
Complete upper in .458 Socom, TROMIX built, just came in today, and it's sweet!
This is a 10"barrel, and is available in non-NFA lengths, as well ! Individual parts
(barrels, bolts, and blocks) available too !

Optimal range for this round is max'd at around 150 yds, anyway......, so no appreciable disadvantage with the short barrel.....I run 405 grain cor-bon, mostly....

I only ask because I've been looking at 458 SOCOM as a hunting round and I really like the look you've got going on there.

I have another .458 Socom in AK platform, also a Tromix gun, with a 16" barrel, and the ballistics are similar with this new 10"..........
Take a look at tromix.com for these uppers........Best price around, and imposssible to beat quality !
