New Concealed Carry Handgun Classes

Louisiana Gun in conjunction with Never Say Die Firearms Training will now be holding concealed carry classes at the store at 12728 Jefferson Hwy. These classes will be held the first Saturday of the month starting in March.

Is there a limit on the number of class participants and how long is the class supposed to last? Where will the shooting portion take place? What do I need to bring to the class? And last, can you do the re-cert class?

The limit of the number of students is 15 at this time. The class last approximately 9.5 hours as per state regulations. The classroom part will take place at Louisiana Gun and Reloading supply on Old Jefferson in Baton Rouge and the shooting portion will take place at Precision Firearms off of Siegen in Baton Rouge. You will need a handgun, approximately 50 rounds of ammo, ear and eye protection. The cost is $100.00 per student for the class and $16.08 per shooter at Precision Firearms for the use of the range and one target. There is no need to bring your firearm into the classroom part of the course. This class will also cover recertification.

My wife and I recertified with Mike in 2008. Seems to know his stuff and the class moved along at a good pace.
