"The Sheriff of St. Mary Parish is changing the hours of operation for their shooting range.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff David Naquin is making some changes at the shooting range.
There will now be new hours for the St. Mary Parish firing range and educational center.
Staring this Monday May 2, 2011 the new hours will be as follows:
Hours will now be 8am until 6pm Tuesday thru Saturday.
The range will be closed on Sunday for use by youth organizations and hunter safety, and will also be closed on Monday for use by law enforcement agencies.
The Sheriff’s press release says the new hours were set in place to give more people in the parish who work a chance to be able to use the range and facility. He adds that the skeet shooting range will be available for a nominal fee."
