I've read they aren't expecting the 45M to make it to market because the ATF isn't going to approve it for a couple reasons: 1. The length can change which is a problem with ATF and 2. By regulation you can't have additional suppressor parts around, like extra baffles etc., when in the "short" configuration you'll have extra components.
The illusion is a skinnier can with less volume than the tirant. Also regarding the modular silencers hopefully they found a way to appease the atf. Apparently silencerco has with the salvo so hopefully others will follow suit.
Pretty much every year around this time all manufacturers are trying to move inventory not only to avoid property taxes but to make way for new stuff that is going to be released at shot show.
I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm, aimed at Will Hayden... Everything he does has been done before, or there's no need to do it, and yet he'll say it's never been done before, or it's a GAME CHANGA!!
