While calling in background checks at work my coworkers and I have noticed more 4473 background checks going for further review.
It seems like majority of the time I've called in 4473s in the past 2 weeks I've had to hold longer than the usually faster times during the further review portion of the check.
It reminds me of how busy the NICS operation center was after Sandy Hook.
Anyone else in the firearm sales industry notice this also?
Did examiners get laid off? Is this some sort of crazy evil scheme to get FFL licensees to move toward the NICS e-check?
