You might have better luck finding a Rock Island Armory 1911 since it seems you are looking for a very cheapo 1911.

IDK about the BR area, but at the last fun show in Kenner, I saw a couple Rock Island 1911's in the sub-400$ price range.

The Norinco 1911's are good guns to build up. I had one, sold it, and still regret it. Good pistols for the money!

Yeah, but it will prolly suck a$$ like it has for a while. Unless you want your knives sharpened, some tee-shirts, beef jerky, china/silverware, candles, or other overpriced goods.

Sigh.....guess I'll see ya there.

My friend brought a knife there and let some of those guys sharpen it, its ruined. Luckily it was only like 5 dollar knife from walmart.

i'm late on this post, but i second the Rock Island Armory for a cheap 1911.

I have one and it works better than my Springfield 1911. They have them for pretty cheap on gunbroker.com

or go talk to the guys at LA Reloading in Baton Rouge, they had a norinco or the like a while back. Good luck
