I don't even own the firearms to use for the course. To be honest, I've never even fired an AR; the last weapon of that type I fired was an M-16 A2, in 1991! Perhaps I should attend a few matches as a spectator and ask questions?!The training is coming shoot a match, no one will make fun of you, we all want to help new shooters, you can be the last shooter and the RO won’t mind coaching you through the course

That would be the way to go, I reckon. I just bought (and fired for my ccw course) a CZ P10C with a Holosun 507C. Other than that, I have a few Glocks, several .45 acps, some lever guns, etc. I recently returned to America, after 14 years in anti-gun Hell, Australia; so I'm REALLY anxious to hit the ground running. I've only seen these competitions from afar and thought they looked like a good way to get back into shooting sports. If you came to a match with store-bought ammo you could shoot my guns and I'm sure others would offer also, a great group of guys, it would be good if you had a pistol with a secure holster.
