Unfortunately, about the going rate. Buy some if you need some to shoot now, but not a good price to stock up deep, perhaps. Shortages of this caliber due to FUD (Fear Uncertainty & Doubt) have .223 near record highs. I'm betting prices drop a little later this year. Recently, I buy when I see prices at 9.99 or below...which is not often.

Good quality round, decent accuracy. I find POI is about an inch lower than my preferred XM-193, which is loaded hotter to 5.56 specs, in a 20 in. barrel, about 1 - 1 1/2 in. in a 16 in. barrel (50 yard zero).

I bought a box to try them out. I zeroed at 25 yards. Backed up to 100 and was able to put 5 rounds in a 6" circle. Not bad for the first time shooting this gun. But I will need to get a scope.

Yea I bought a box just to try them. I am able to shoot pretty much right out my back door.

The place has about 50 boxes of these. I really wanted to know about the price before I bought a lot of boxes.

I need names and places to buy. Where I live this gun store is about the only game in town. The other is Wally world and they never have what I need.

I live in Lafourche also online is your best bet. But try Academy in houma if you want for now. I shoot a lot so 500 rounds don't last long for me.

plus shipping always sucks! how much does it cost to drive there, plus how much more per box. After all that it probably would be the same to just drive and get them.
