Was thinking about it, but I'm seeing fewer antique guns at the shows these days, and the newer stuff seems to be priced at normal retail levels. Not sure if it's worth the drive ...
Went by there about an hour or so ago but didn't get to the door. Absolutely NO parking anywhere! Drove around the parking areas for about fifteen minutes before finally giving up. There are a bunch of youth baseball games going on as well as the gun show.
Is that show any better than Kenner? The last time I went to Kenner it resembled a flea market more than a gun show. I have no need for beanie babies or glass figurines.
The guy that organizes the shows daughter has the jewelry tables, most of it is pretty nice stuff. Not your normal Mardi Gras throw jewelry.
This show has been struggling to stay alive, it doesn't get the attention of the Mandeville/Slidel/Kenner shows. There is no such thing as gun show "deals" anymore.
Like going to the movies; go for entertainment purposes, visit with a friend/neighbor and if you see something you just can't live without, liberate it from the vendor and take it home.
