I think people absolutely should contact Sen. Mary Landrieu, Sen. David Vitter and their own Congressman concerning your thoughts on the proposed gun-control legislation. He is trying to whip up support to influence the votes in Congress. They need to hear from as many people as possible that OPPOSE any new gun control laws. If you choose to contact them, I would suggest that it be kept polite and to the point. Just my thoughts.

I don't see this one working in his favor.

Unlike the electoral college, representatives supposedly represent only a small geographical area by equal votes.

Check out the color coded voting results of his last election.....there's waaaaay more of us than "them"

Same thing people thought about o'bama care. Can't happen again? Better get on the phone.

Totally not a good comparison....first, I for one, had no doubt that obomacare would pass. The dems had majority in both houses....look how the midterm elections played out after they voted along party lines instead of popular opinion.

Obamacare would never pass today. Probably not even make it to the floor for a vote. There's a solid majority in the house, and a lot of blue dog dems in the senate facing elections that they are already nervous about how their vote for obamacare is gonna hurt them.

If the dems were even a little bit concerned about gun control, they'd rammed it down our throat when they actually had it guaranteed.
