Honey island swamp is pretty nice it's not a true "sporting clays" range per se but you stand at a window "A" thrower throws away from you, "B" Thrower throws towards and angled up. They have a bouncing rabbit that comes from left to right as well. 5 lanes available. Costs 4.00 for a ticket, ticket gets you one box of shells 25 rds, they supply the clay birds. It's fun and safe I enjoy shooting there.
Hunters run gun club has a real fun course for sporting clays. I read on here recently that they've cut the course down because of the season so it's not as long. Give them a call though. I paid 25 for one round which was 8 stations and 50 clays. Have fun
My favorite place by far is G.O.L. in Maurice (near Abbeville, south of Lafayette). Great variety of targets (including towers), nice facility, around $44 for 100 birds. Check 'em out on the web at http://www.golshooting.com.
