As a reloader, my hobby has recently become more interesting by the introduction of the USPSA power factor. Now, not only am I concerned about accuracy and reliability, but also managed recoil while making power factor. A few folks have been courteous enough to let me use their chronograph, but I'm wondering what ranges near Baton Rouge, if any, have a chronograph for general use.

    Thanks-

Not to my knowledge. You must bring your own. You should be able to find someone going to a match that owns one. Just ask, I am sure they will let you put some round over it to check put your loads.

I hope this doesn't sound mean, but, buy your own. They are not that expensive and if you are a reloader, you need one, in my opinion.
What better way to know exactly what your loads are doing? No matter how good the load information is, or how close you follow it, you are really just guessing what it will do in YOUR gun, without a chronograph. Plus, if you accidently shoot a borrowed chrono, now you need to buy two instead of one. One to replace the borrowed one, and the one you should have bought in the first place.
I don't mean to preach, I've been there, and now own a PACT model 1 chrono. I've been very pleased with it. It came with the spreader bar for the sunscreens for a bit over $100. All I added was a camera tripod.
