    I like turkey bacon. When biting it, it reminds me of the texture of Slim Jim beef jerky. It's amazing watching that crap cook. No grease left over in the pan whatsoever.

    Sadly, I've been away from bacon for a little over a year now.

    I remember years ago, my mom bought some sliced bacon from the butcher section at this local grocery. Like 5lbs worth. It looked like big slabs of Thanksgiving ham and took forever to cook crispy. You could actually trim the fat off it before you started cooking it, it was so thick.
