What is the weight of the factory recoil spring in the G19? What are the advantages/disadvantages of changing to a lighter or heavier spring?

G 19 is 17#. Lighter weight will cycle faster and you will get back on target quicker with less muzzle flip . ISMI springs will work on your stock guide rod or you can go with a SS guide rod. All available from Lone Wolf Distributors. The 15# ISMI springs work good in all 9mm and .40 cal. Glocks except sub-compacts.
