Remington 700 custom build

I know this topic is probably pretty worn out by now but I'm not on a lot so I'm hoping for some of you guys advice. First off the 700 has recall issues so that's the first issue. When it comes back on shelves I want to purchase the 7mm mag. Wanna change trigger and barrel. Also these are the stocks I had in mind.

Why buy a whole rifle if you only want to keep the action? Call up Scout Supply Company and order a long action 700 magnum trued action and start with that. You're looking for a custom rifle so you can go as far as your pocket book will allow.

As far as stocks, sure the GRS looks cool, but it's going to be as heavy as a brick and the B&C's aren't all that great in comparison to a good stock like Manners or McMillan.

If you are changing the stock, trigger, and barrel, just go find a used 700 magnum and get started. No reason to wait and buy a new rifle.

It makes no sense to buy a complete rifle and pay for a barrel, trigger and a stock (factory) that you are going to take of and replace with after market parts. Just buy the parts and build a rifle.

Might be trading for a 700 7mm Rem Mag soon if my neighbor can convince his wife, lol. Wanna work something out? I don't need it but I'm getting a good deal.
