On the chopping block is my Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308. I wanted to get into long range shooting, but I never had the time or the land I hoped for. I have so other items I want to scratch off the wish list, so it's time for her to move on. It has a total of 120 round through it and is still in pristine condition because like I said it rarely left the safe.
Upgrades:
Bell and Carlson Medalist Stock
Wyatt Outdoor Detachable Magazine Assembly w/ 1 five round mag (mags available in 5 and 10 rounds from Wyatt Outdoor)
Badger Bolt Handle
Harris Engineering Bi-pod 6-9in w/ swivel
Nikon Buckmaster 4-14x40mm scope w/ sunshade
Here is a picture of how it shot out of the box with the Nikon scope. This is at 200 yards and I don't fancy myself a great marksman. I have not shot it since putting it in the Bell and Carlson, but I'm sure the aluminum bedding and barrel floating improved the accuracy. 16 rounds (sorry for the cell phone pic)
Price with all the upgrades and the scope: $1,100 FTF
If you live in Louisiana I can ship it to your door (no FFL) for whatever the actual cost to me would be.
I can take more pictures upon request if needed. Located in Baton Rouge, but I fish all over south Louisiana often.
