Complete rifle no longer for sale. Stock to be listed for sale seperately.
Remington 700 Varmint Synthetic. HS Precision Stock with HS Precision Bottom Metal. I bought the rifle used, mainly because I wanted the scope off of it. Called the serial number in to Remington and was told it’s the 700 VS model and was built in 1996. The factory bottom metal was swapped out with an HS Precision DBM unit and it has one magazine. The barreled action has been coated or parkerized and looks much nicer than the rough finish on the newer 700’s. I’m assuming the stocks been painted since I’ve never seen one come from Remington in camo. Seems like they did a good job, it’s not your average rattle can paint job. Rifle is in great shape. Couple small nicks on the stock and bottom metal. Trigger is light and crisp.
I shot about 10 rounds through it to make sure everything worked all right. With factory ammo and a half ass rest it was easy to hold 3 shot groups under MOA at 100 yards.
$900 $800+ shipping or ftf. Prefer ftf and can drive meet someone halfway within 30 - 45 min of Baton Rouge
