I have an old Stevens side by side and a Winchester 61 rifle that both have stocks in need of a little repair. They're kind of beaters so the project is more just for fun and to make it functional than to try to actually restore them. I would like to find and re-purpose a piece of gun stock that someone may have laying around. If you have something you think may work, let me know. I think the biggest piece won't need to be bigger than 6" long by about 3" square. Also, if you have any tips, feel free to post them here as well. Thanks.
