Douglas barrel 20" with badger brake 22"
McMillan A3 all bedded nicely
Factory trigger set at 3.5lbs

Going to remove the brake and have a Badger FTE brake installed so I can shoot some matches.

My Mosin Nagant, and my first firearm purchase.

Most versatile weapon ever made.

Can act as a rifle, boat paddle, spear, javelin, club, firewood, axle, and be used to reset a dislocated shoulder.

First purchase was a '43 Mosin Nagant. I have since put on a rubber butt pad, and a bolt on long eye scope. Seems to work out pretty well, and I didn't want to tap the receiver. It would loosen over time, but after a liberal application of locktight, I couldn't ask for more.

OK Update on 2 of my babies,

1) Finally finished my Savage Precision Rifle, shot 2 clinics, 1 F Class Match, however shot with no adj cheek weld, it was back ordered, now the Grim Reaper cheek weld is installed, Savage 10FP .308 in Olive Bell & Carlson Tactical Medalist stock, Accutrigger, EGW 20MOA Mount, 16X Super Sniper GLass, only thing left is 100 more rounds and barrel is headed for deep freeze (cyro)



Since I have been shooting F class theis fall/winter and 3 gun is in the off season, I pulled my competition JP rifle apart after 2 seasons of hard use. The finishes were really worn, so I stripped and disassembled every component and refinised. Used the Lauer Bake On Finish as I have used this many times in the past. All springs, pins, and internals were replaced if needed. A new set of Gas Rings were also replaced. Rechecked torque on Jp mount / rings. Jp RIfles use cyrogenically treated stainless barrels, so this rifle has many, many more rounds left in it.

What color is that on your barrel? I like it!

Olive Drab cerakote, the previous owner sent it out to R&D precision and had it cerakoted.
