What's your opinion on a conversion barrel for shooting 357 sig in a Glock 23

What's your opinion on the round?

Have you shot it thru your G23/ And?

    Thanks in advance.

I no longer own a .357 Sig or .40 but I have owned both in the past and other than cost and availability I prefer shooting .357 Sig. The conversion barrels normally work fine.

I bought a .357 sig barrel for my full size M&P and liked shooting it better. I ended up not using the .40 barrel with it anymore.

I have a G22 and when im plinking I use the .40 barrel and when I have it ready for home defense I use the .357sig.

The .40 is a little more forgiving and smooth shooting compared to the hot .357sig. Both are great. I love the .357sig.

The biggest issue I have seen with having both a .40 and a .357 barrel for the model 23 is that both rounds will fit in the .40 chamber.

And I've seen the results of this.

I say pick one or the other.

The .357 Sig is a self licking lollipop, boutique round.

Had it come before the .40, it might have had a chance. Personally, I don't see it filling a niche that isn't already covered by something else.

Its a really nice round. When ammo was hard to find, I could always find the 357 sig. I prefer it over the .40.

I got into .357 sig for the same reason Old School did back when Obama was elected the first time. All of the calibers were hard to find except for. 357 sig so I bought a stock glock 31 barrel for my glock 22 and started shooting .357 sig more than any other caliber pistol that I own. I liked it so much I bought a G33, G32 and a G31. The G33 is my carry pistol now.

replacement barrels work fine in G23, or 32, you can go back and forth depending on ammo avail. had a 9mm Stormlake that dragged a little on top right, filed on it, works fine. thats 3-guns in one. DONT mix up the clips/ !!

I had a glock 23 with a lone wolf, two port extended .357sig barrel for it. I loved it! The .357sig was a good bit louder due to the porting but much less muzzle flip. The .40 and .357sig mags are interchangeable, but I bought separate mags to avoid confusion. I would love to get a 27 or 33 to have the 3 caliber capability.
