So I'm going to Vegas in a few weeks and was thinking of hitting up a shooting range to shoot some guns I don't get a chance to shoot around here like mp40's, m60's etc. Has anyone been to any of those ranges and if so what was your experience. I have been shooting a long time and I am proficient in safe firearm handling. I really don't want to be babysat the whole way through or have it be over in two minutes.

Also, is there anything more immersive? Like a shoothouse or range that has steel or other reactive targets on it?

Please share your experiences. Any other Vegas advice would also be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Gavin

Can't remember names, but seems like the ranges are gear towards tourists from outside the US. I signed up for a few rounds on a saw, multiple malfunctions a 2nd saw and they eventually gave me something in 762 39 that ran much better. I wasn't anymore impressed with most of their staff than local range staff, especially after the told me that they "manufactured" the saws.
