I have never shot 3_gun before.
But I might wonder out with my camera, to see what it is all about.
And learn about it for the next time.

As long as you are safe and follow the safety rules, I don't think anyone would have a problem with you being out there. I shot in the last match and had only shot in one other 3-gun match. Here is a link to the rules and some edits that have been made to them.

We will be using the IMA rules with amendments.
Sections 1-4 unchanged.
Section 5 - Omit, we will not have divisions or classifications.
Section 6 - We are using IDPA scoring (time plus penalties) to reward higher accuracy.

Here are the stages. They will be fast paced and fun. They've been designed to minimize the amount of running around in the heat and to hopefully have everyone back in the A/C before it gets too unbearably hot. Another good thing about the stages not being overly complex is if you are wanting to shoot for the first time, this will be a great match to start on.

As stated above, we are not concerned about your skill level. All we are concerned about is your ability to shoot safely and have fun.
