side Charging Ambi Upper

Anyone have experience with these. Looking at Crosshill Tech Ambi - will be used for a 6.8 SPC upper build for deer hunting. Original thought was just to get another BRO billet upper and Diamondhead hand guard to keep the same look.
Thoughts and opinions welcome!

Before I drop that kind of coin, Id look at a setup like this

John Scandale at Keystone accuracy can do them in left hand as well, and has a very fast turn around time.
THis is the kind of setup we use in Highpower when we want to use an adjustable buttstock. Its simple and the charging handle is basically a 1/4 x20 bolt with a collar on it.

I run a crosshill right side charger on my 6.5 Grendel and love it. Yes it reciprocates, and I debated using this on my blackout pistol to make it like an AK/AR, but decided that the dedicated DMR was kinda cooler with side charger. It should be noted that it does NOT fit in standard vise blocks.

I'll get some pictures tonight. I run this one on an NFA billet lower.

JP upper is awesome---- but at $850 is mighty pricey- can build a whole upper for that price.
The White Oak Armament with a 26" barrel would be a lil long for carrying in and out if a deer stand.
Think I might go with. Regular billet BRO upper receiver, Wilson Combat match 6.8 SPC 1-11" twist 16" barrel and diamondhead hand guard.
Found out that a lot of the side charging upper receivers are wider and bulkier than other uppers and any hand guard with tabs will not seat correctly.
