I haven't shot one of these, but I remember not liking the slide lock for some reason. At the time, I was trying to decide between the Sig Pro (2340) or the P229. I decided to go with the P229.

I did, however, shoot the P239 at a class at Sig Academy. I liked the gun rather well.

I'm not a big fan of the Sig Pro. The feel just isnt there for me. It may be cause I'm use to my P229.

And that is why this site is good. You get honest reviews from people instead of the kool-aid drinkers on some other unnammed sites. I was looking at on in .40 and one in .357 and think I'll pass on both.

I'm watching a .40 and a .45. Waiting for responses on the .45 and if I don't get it, I'll get the .40. Both are pretty good deal but the .40 doesn't have all the gear (missing backstraps and only has one mag).
