I have a Norinco SKS model M that is designed to accept AK mags. There's no bayonet or lug. It's in excellent condition, has no scratches or scuffs that I can see. I also have about 140 rds of ammo and a 30 rd magazine - Ammo is mostly Norinco with one box of Remington. I don't have the original box but do have the little cleaning kit and sling. I have shot 100 or so rounds through it, had it since it was new, and just don't have much use for it. I'd say it's in excellent condition. I haven't decided to sell for sure but am curious what I could get for it. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Seriously though, check Gunbroker and/or Guns America and search for SKS-M or SKSM and look at what they're going for. They were going for 4-500 a year or so ago.

    $400-$550, for the rifle.

Of course, if someone is willing to pay $700 for one, sell it for $700.

    :)

IMHO, the price of a SKS-M is bounded by the price of an AK.

    I agree.

There's no way I could convince myself to pay $500 for one of those, unless the next cheapest AK was something like a grand.

If you can find a buyer at a higher price though, by all means go for it.
