Clay I think my jaw literally dropped when you put it into perspective of the neck size! Has your shoe size/width changed? Well done.

Clay, I don't think I've ever seen a man drop that much weight that quick! Congrats! You have to at least reward your BayouShooter bretheren with some before and after photos!

Ditto on the food industry, I managed to slim down while I worked at Cane's in high school but I can't attribute that to hard work...it was puberty and growth spurts.

It was good meeting you! Had a good time hanging out.

Working in the food industry does have its challenges but I chew a lot of gum. Keeps me from snacking

That's awesome. I started at 352 lbs on June 16, 2010 and I'm at 218 right now 2 years later. I'm 6'1" so I'm pretty much done losing at this point. I have found that I LOVE the gym, and would rather do that than most anything else.

Damn Clay, you're getting so close now!

i still feel i have a long way to go, i'm hoping to be half my weight by sept which is 222.5 for my 20 year high school reunion which would be 6 lbs a month, which i think is attainable and will put me at 18 months since my journey started, once i get to there im going to try doing something along with riding my bike to tone up more or build muscle....i tried the gym and couldn't stand it, swimming is alright but get boring for me...i saw a new home gym jackrack.com i thought about...looks interesting.....thanks for all your help HITMAN, could not have done it without you

Don't credit me Bro. This is your shear will to commit to get fit and you’re still going strong.

As for as the jackrack. You should know this by now. ANY of these Machines or Systems can aid in getting you into shape. They all require the same simple element. YOU! You are still going to have to give the effort. It's only a mere tool in the grand scheme of things. This tool however IMO is a good one :)

    But you know this MAYNE!

I just know the closer some folks get to their goal, sometimes they can start to get a little impatient and try to skim on things. Completely understandable. Keep your realistic goal in mind and don't forget that the closer you get to your ideal weight, the less lbs you'll lose per week. Don't let that stress you. Also remember how much muscle mass weighs. Once you start to increase your physical training, you'll start to gain lean muscle mass and the scale will begin to lie to you when it comes to FAT loss. You'll eventually have to start taping yourself or getting pinched at a local gym by a Trainer. This way you can now accurately measure fat loss and muscle gain with an accurate body fat percentage.

Stay the course my man! I absolutely LOVE seeing your updates, and I know folks here, even if they don't post are motivated by your STRONG WORK!

It should remind folks that there is no need to get drastic, just little adjustments.

This is a biggie, you don't have to cut out everything, just readjust or make the meal healthier, i am satisfied with the 7lbs a month i have been getting, i could of course be allot stricter but then i might not be able to live with this new way of life....i eat brown rice quite often, and throw in ribeyes and baked potatoes, but its all things i enjoy and still lose weight on, but still have not had Mcdonald's, or french fries, or any type of carbonated drink such as coke, diet coke...i have had to make some sacrifices, but when i realized and accepted that it is the way i have to eat for the rest of my life, i accepted the sacrifices and i am fine with it......before when i was at 445, i went to emergency room for stitches, my blood pressure, was on the high side, not enough for meds but dr said it was something that needed to be addressed, i took my bp today, it was 115/65, which from what i understand is very acceptable....no meds, no magic pills, or shakes...just a little exercise and eating better.

Total loss thus far is 182lbs, i originally though my starting weight was 440, but when going back over my starting date i realized it was 445.

One month away from my 1 year anniversary, if all goes as planned, i should reach 190lbs loss in 1 year which is far more than ever expected.

    Damn impressive
