Hardware: yes. Furniture is drenched in cosmoline. (Oily). To be quite honest, I don't think that it's salvageable with chemical stripper.

Seriously though, I see it more as a shooter than a safe-queen. 922 is a bitty. I figured that the furniture would be a bad option if I ever decided to thread it. (My original intent). I definitely wanted to utilize foreign mags without floor plates and followers.
