I went to the shoot with a buddy today and had my 40 glock and my friend brought his 45 flocks. Of course mine was very snappy but when I shot the 36 and 21 and love how they feel. I'll sold on the 45 it handles better than my 9 mm and 40. Only is the 30 good cc? I know the 36 is perfect but like carrying extra rounds

The 30 feels a lil brick like on the hip, especially in the summer, but like Sensei said, "It's meant to be a comfort, not to be comfortable. Carried a 30 for years. I concur with these several others. Unless the price on the 36 can't be ignored, go 30.

Get the 30SF. I have carried mine for about 7 months now. If you get a quality holster such as a Crossbreed, Galco, Raven Concealment, you will forget it is there. I work at Barney's and have seen several 36s come back with various problems. Never had a 30 come back.

When g lock makes a 1911, I'll recommend that to you.

What kind of problems do 36s have? I owned one about a year ago and dont remember any issues with. I recently bought another one because i missed it and was wishing i had never sold it in the first place. I do find that more people like the 30 over the 36. But the 36 is just so much fun to shoot! :D

I personally have seen 4 with problems. 2 of them would fail to feed using various mags with various ammo. Out of the other 2, one failed to extract and the other would fail to eject. I have ran thousands of rounds through my gen3 30sf with many different types of ammo and have NEVER had a single malfunction. The one of the 36s was an older one and the other 3 were purchased within a year.

    here
G36 is a great weapon for CC. I have owned both and the 36 carries better for me. The 30 holds more rounds so its a toss up I guess.

I have the limp wristing disease, but it doesnt show on my g36. It showed bad with a berreta px4 sc though. I really think it comes down to personal preference. Shoot them all and pick the one u like best.

Have a new G36, and w/ std. 230 gr. ball it's a little easier to shoot than my G23 w/ 180 gr. ammo.

W/ 230 gr. +P loads it is ~ the same.

Seems to run flawlessly so far.

Really like the G36 as it is a little trimmer and lighter than the G23 I'm used to carrying, and don't think Seven rounds of .45 ACP 230 gr. HST in hand is all that much of a disadvantage.

A second Mag or Two takes care of any ammo shortages.

The G36 is a little slower to reload than a std. Glock because of its mag base configuration. but w/ a little practice it's gettin' better.

    Sure carries nice.
