1947 Winchester Model 12 16 Ga. Most of the blueing is gone. Gun spent most if its life hunting in brackish water. Reciever and barrel has pitting. Wood is in great condition. Butt plate is in great condition. Great project gun to refinish in duracoat or parkerize. $250 $175 or I welcome trade offers.

Is the inside of the bore pitted like this, or was it just a surface issue? Does it shoot well or does it have any mechanical issues?

Bore is clean. No pits inside barrel. Shoots fine. I ran six shells in it last weekend just to be sure. I may have a few boxes of shells to include with the sale.
