OK, give me all opinions on this gun. My local gun shop has one for sale for just over $1000. It has the detachelble carry handle, sling mounts, chambered in .223.

You can build one for a little less, but will wait 20 weeks on parts. Sounds like a good buy.

A while back Stag was regarded as on of the most underated brands.
Don't know what model you are looking at, but for 1K your not getting a bad deal on a new gun. (sounds like it includes the carry handle)

Just 1 opinion. Since Obama I can't keep up with the pricing trends.

I have a Stag 2L AR-15 and LOVE IT. Never had a failure-to-feed or jam on it... shooting russian ammo too. I paid less than 1000$ for it myself, but given the circumstances that's not a bad deal IMO.

The original AR that I wanted was a STAG Model 2T. Definitely some of the best AR15s on the market, and were priced well pre-Obama. If you can get one anywhere around $1k, snatch it up.

I recently received my Stag Model 2T. I ordered from my FFL the Thursday after the election, I've had it a couple of 3 weeks now.

Performs flawlessly, although being a newbie to Black Rifles I don't know how to finish it off. Want to scope it but can't decide which one.

$1000 is more than I paid in Nov but thats a good price

Its a good price. The worst part is having to pay the tax with it being local. Honestly thought the tax doesn't start getting a lot more expensive than shipping and transfer fee until the cost of the rifle is well over 1000.

My Bushmaster has run flawlessly with anything I feed it . The trigger could use some improvement though .

Most forums that I've seen would put Bushmaster on the top of that list. Personally I have a Stag and wouldn't trade it for either of those. All good guns IMO.
