Ok, so i have an aluminum stock, and it is a reflective, shiny silver. And I was wonder if i could get it dipped, or stained, or whatever the correct procedure would be for making it a different color. I was thinking like orange. Does anyone know of a company that does this kind of stuff?

Here's a link to a picture of one:

I would take the barrel, action, butt plate, and cheek piece off. I just want the stock done.

    Thanks.

If you would want it to stay shiny like metal, you could have is anodized. Not sure of the cost (which might not be a concern with a 3k stock), you could contact someone like this: http://www.alphametal.com/services/anodizing/155

You could also have it Duracoated. We have a forum sponsor (rockmup) that does it. I'm sure he would know all the needed primer for aluminum, since you can't just use the same that you would use for steel/plastic.

    Thanks for the mention mb504.

    Yes that can be done.
Send me a pm and we can talk about the details or I can tell you how to do it yourself if you'd like.
