    :D

Seriously though, can you imagine the ramifications if they decided he wasn't a "natural born citizen" and therefore not eligible? Would we then have President Biden or would it go back to President Romney?

I had wondered that also. I think that Biden would be president due to succession, but then I think there could be a challenge of the 2008 election (would that end up with McCain as president? Yuck) or even the 2008 Democrat Primary results which would then mean that the Democrat candidate would be Billary, I mean Hillary, and then would we have to do the 2008 election all over again McCain vs Billary? I think technically we would have to, but I don't think that given this close to the next election it would happen and Biden would just play king until the election.

This is the year 2014. The ramifications for something like this, if true,
are WAY TOO MUCH to bear for the current populace.

    It'll never happen.

The country doesn't have that kind of integrity in congress.

    Hang it up folks.

Agree 10000%. Waaaayyy too many things have happened to ever be able to go back with any president at this point. I would say if it wasn't done within a few days of their first inauguration, it's too late. Was talking to someone here at work about the link and our conversation went to the Hilary quote and I thought it would be funny.

Hypothetically, if Barry were to be determined to be ineligible, and the determination stood up to the appeals, then the National Democratic Party would have lost the election by default, and the Republican Candidate would be sworn in.

    I think.

Yep. Would the US then have to make reparations to the families of every enemy combatant killed under his presidency? Imagine having to pay Bin Laden's family and apologize for his death. :eek3:

I see nowhere in that article where it says the Supreme Court has actually agreed to hear this case. I can't even find evidence of it being a real court case outside of that and some "birther" websites. I call BS.

Brief filed by William J Olson P.C. (offices in Virginia).

In re: Christopher John Rudy v Michelle R Lee, et al
    Filed: 13 August 2014

    Their web address is lawandfreedom.com
Click on Constitutional Law on left sidebar.

I spoke to them. It's a real law firm. Over 50 filing with the Supremes since their first such brief in 1981 supporting Reagan's firing of the PATCO controllers.

I do not know if they will actually accept the case. But this firm felt confident to spend the time on the brief.

    Dunno

They won't. The firm felt confident that they could get some free publicity by doing this. The Supreme Court is not going to take this case. This is the same kind of nothing as the idiot laws that get filed every year by every numbnuts Representative in cuckoo California and the like. It's nothing and it's going nowhere.

Ever read an article and thought "Not only was that a waste of digital space but it will probably be shared on facebook and forums unfortunatly"

    I just did
