Awesome! That's just what I was looking for. Paul, is it mounted to a rifle? what mount are you using?
I looked at fenix lights but I couldn't find anything as small in their tactical product line. All of their other lights that were small enough have too many modes ... Ie push once for low, twice for high, three times for strobe. I'll check out 4-sevens.
The light Paul pimps is your best, cheaper option. I wouldn't use a fenix or 4sevens on a rifle. The mini scout cn be had used all over the net for around $225.
Very interesting. Looks like I'll have to put the VTAC on the list. I currently have a Fenix TK11 on my AR, it's bright as hell and it's held up fine so far, but I haven't pushed the rifle too hard and it's heavy. I had avoided the 300a so far because I didn't want to pay for a tape switch that I wouldn't use. The VTAC looks like it fits the bill.
