Several years back I bought a Ruger Single Six in .32 H&R Mag. I like shooting it, it's quite a nice looking gun, however I don't like the single cylinder load "action." I would prefer a swing out cylinder in a larger caliber. Does anyone know of a model or maker that makes a cowboy gun in a .357 or larger caliber with swing out cylinder?

Seeing the Evil Roy in the sale section got me thinking about this.

Yep, a Schofield, or S&W replica top break single action seems to be what you're looking for.

Since ive been wondering about Top breaks and this seems to be the perfect place to ask.

Who are the current manufacturers? I see Cimarron makes one kinda pricey at $1k though. I was kinda hoping for the mp-412 to make it in production.

Uberti makes Cimarron's guns for them. Cimarron is just an importer.

You can look at Cimarron, Taylor and Co, Uberti and there are a couple more out there also but they are pretty much the same gun. Uberti makes most of them and the other guys are just importers.

They are all pricey at between 700-1000 dollars. You can however, find them on the auctions and used at a better price but you just have to look around.
