I notice Mr. Stokes has been on here quite a bit yet hasn't seen fit to post in his own thread.
I was looking forward to more of his 2A wisdom based on his years of experience.

Never really talked to Mark much before that accident. Seen him only a couple of times before at family gathering etc. so I wasn't all to sure where he worked as a officer, just knew he was in the Lafourch parish police department. Didn't even know he was a Lt. up until this happened. Also, I wrote my original response very quickly, didn't read over it. My mistake. Don't take my word for it, do your own research. As you are, I respect that. If I wouldn't have given a quick response, that would have further hurt my validity, but my incorrect response hurt it even more.
Now there is an awesome idea! We could open a range and hire all female ROs. One could dress up like a school teacher and walk around with a ruler to punish safety violators. Another could be in leather with a riding crop!
Tell me you wouldn't shoot there!
Facts...phft...just minor details...Come on, don't let facts get in the way of a good story.
Hold on... Am I being detained?
Really, how long must this continue ??
Man, this thread became too long so I stopped reading after a while. Open Carry is legal, I believe you should be able to do so and if Star Bucks allows it then you have every right to do so in a manner that you may normally do in everyday life. You wanna CC or ever OC a normal sidearm in a respectful way? Sure go ahead, but don't go into a conflict just for the sake of having conflict. (Aka throwing an AR over your back)
Isn't that normal behavior for West Monroe though?Your logic is making me rethink my plans for this weekend. I was going to sling up the Marlin 45/70, the AR, and OC a couple of 1911's at the local Starbucks... Maybe bring the shotgun, it is dove season after all.
